1. What metalspread.com Does

metalspread.com pulls live gold and silver futures data from MCX via Kite Connect, gold ETF closing prices from NSE/BSE, RBI gold reserve figures, and USD/INR CDS futures rates. We process this raw data into per-gram, per-10g, per-kg, and per-troy-ounce prices across multiple purity grades (999, 995, 916, 925, 800, etc.) and display it on city-specific pages covering 34 Indian cities. We also run a jeweller price comparison tracker and gold import/regulatory dashboards.

By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the site.

2. This Is Not Financial Advice

metalspread.com is a market data reference platform, not a SEBI-registered advisor or broker. The gold rates, silver rates, ETF NAVs, and jeweller prices shown on metalspread.com are derived from publicly available exchange data and are meant purely for research and comparison. Users should not buy or sell gold, silver, ETFs, or sovereign gold bonds solely based on information displayed here. Consult a SEBI-registered investment advisor for decisions involving financial commitments.

3. No Client Relationship

Your use of metalspread.com does not create any broker-client, advisor-client, fiduciary, or professional relationship. The platform does not execute trades, route orders, or act on behalf of users.

4. Data Accuracy & Delays

MCX quotes on metalspread.com refresh every few minutes during market hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 11:30 PM IST). ETF data is end-of-day from NSE/BSE. Jeweller prices are collected from publicly available rate disclosures and may lag the source by hours. Reasonable efforts are made to maintain data accuracy, but exchange feeds may experience interruptions, APIs may timeout, and parsing may contain errors. Users should cross-check rates with their bullion dealer or broker's terminal before transacting.

5. What You Can & Cannot Do

You are welcome to use metalspread.com for personal research, share links to our pages, and reference our data in articles with attribution. You may not: (a) use automated access that materially burdens infrastructure or bypasses rate-limits, (b) resell or redistribute the data feeds commercially, (c) frame or embed our pages inside another product without written permission, or (d) reverse-engineer our MCX-to-city-price conversion formulas for a competing product.

6. Intellectual Property

The editorial content on city pages (including market descriptions for Zaveri Bazaar, Dariba Kalan, Thrissur, and other regions), purity guide text, FAQ answers, and the UI design are original to metalspread.com. The underlying price data belongs to MCX, NSE, BSE, and other respective exchanges — we display it under their data usage terms. The metalspread name and logo are our trademarks. metalspread.com is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with MCX, NSE, BSE, RBI, IBJA, LBMA, or any jeweller unless explicitly stated.

7. Third-Party Links

We link to BIS (for hallmark verification), MCX, NSE, BSE, RBI, and individual jeweller websites. metalspread.com has no control over their content or uptime. If a linked third-party page becomes inaccurate or unsafe, please notify us so the link can be reviewed or removed.

8. Limitation of Liability

metalspread.com provides informational market data on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, metalspread.com and its operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses arising from use of the site or reliance on displayed information. metalspread.com does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or suitability of any data.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when we add new features or when regulations change. The "Effective" date at the top will change. Since we do not collect your email, we cannot notify you directly — bookmark this page to stay updated.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes, if any, fall under the jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

11. Nature of Information

Prices displayed represent derived reference values based on multiple benchmarks and may differ from executable market quotes. Physical bullion transactions occur bilaterally and include spreads, taxes, and charges not reflected in displayed values.

12. Advertising

metalspread.com displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads are delivered by Google and may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing activity. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. metalspread.com does not control the content of third-party ads and is not responsible for the products or services advertised. Advertising does not influence the data, rates, or editorial content displayed on this site.
